What is it?

The Clothes Aid Helpline is dedicated to dealing with all your enquiries regarding our services. It is based in London.

Our Helpline operators are ready to answer your call from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

How much will it cost me?

The Clothes Aid Helpline is an 0845 number, which is supplied to us through Alternative Networks, our communications provider, who charge us a fixed fee for our phone service.

But as call charges vary between networks, it is best to contact your service provider to check their rates. 0845 numbers are sometimes included free in BT call plans and included within other providers call plans. Calls from mobile phones tend to cost more, but again it depends on the phone company you are with. We appreciate this can be quite confusing, but at Clothes Aid we are keen to keep your costs as low as possible.

What if I live in London?

If you live in the London area or are calling from a mobile, it may be cheaper if you dial 020 7288 8545 instead.

Do you make a profit from using an 0845 number?

No, we do not ‘revenue share’ or pick up the cost of individual calls, or make any profit through the use of the 0845 number. We use 0845 because with most phone companies, you generally pay local call rates. Our helpline is not overseas but in London, and dialling our area code number ‘020’ from a long way away can sometimes be more expensive.
