The Noah's Ark Appeal

The Noah's Ark appeal was set up in May 2000 to raise the money needed to build, equip and support The Children's Hospital for Wales; the first hospital in Wales devoted solely to treating sick children. The hospital will treat over 8,000 in-patients and a further 20,000 out-patients each year.
The objective of the appeal is not only to provide a world-class hospital but als to continue to raise funds to support and maintain a world-class standard of care and facilities for the children treated there.
The progress
Phase one of The Children's Hospital for Wales opened its doors to its first patients in February 2005. It comprises two medical wards and two floors dedicated to children with cancer, an education room and playrooms on each floor. Before its completion, Wales was the only country in Europe not to have a dedicated children's hospital.
In phase two, the appeal needs to raise around £4m for new equipment including items for the new paediatric critical care unit where it is vital to have the most advanced technology available.
Working with Clothes Aid
"We have appointed Clothes Aid to distribute and collect clothing bags on our behalf throughout Wales and some parts of the UK".
"We are thrilled to be working with Clothes Aid. This year we are celebrating 8 years of fundraising for The Children's Hospital for Wales. This will be the first hospital in Wales devoted solely to treating sick children and will treat over 8,000 in-patients and a further 20,000 out-patients each year".
With your help we can do more.
