News - Launch of new partnership with the NSPCC

Clothes Aid is proud to announce its newest partner: The NSPCC

Clothes Aid is rolling out house-to-house collections in support of the NSPCC across England this July, so look out for an NSPCC/Clothes Aid bag coming through your door soon.

Says Michael Lomotey, Clothes Aid’s business manager: “We are delighted to be supporting the NSPCC and giving the public another way to help protect children, while also playing their part to protect the environment."

Over half a million guaranteed

The NSPCC will receive £75 for every tonne of clothing collected. In the first year, Clothes Aid guarantees to raise at least £525,000 for the NSPCC.

Tracy Griffin, NSPCC head of corporate partnerships, said: “Having a clothes clear out with Clothes Aid is a great way for people to support the NSPCC during this challenging economic climate."

Funds raised by Clothes Aid will help the NSPCC end cruelty to children through services such as ChildLine and the NSPCC Helpline.
