New collection methods

Clothes Aid are thrilled to announce the launch of two new and exciting collection methods.

Environmentally friendly Tags
Please help us to reduce our impact on the environment by using our new t-shirt shaped Tags. We are asking householders to re-use their own bags by filling with unwanted clothes, shoes and bedding, and then attaching our Tags to identify these as Clothes Aid collections. You can view the Tags here.

First Tuesday collections
Clothes Aid will soon be posting leaflets through doors together with donation bags, advising householders of future collection dates in their areas.

Please fill these bags as normal and place outside in full view of the road. If you are not able to donate on a particular month, you could wait until the First Tuesday of the next month as we'll be around anyway, as promised.

Clothes Aid supports UK charities and helps to reduce waste too
We are the UK's leading clothing collector, and are continually striving to raise as much money as possible for our charity partners. We also help the environment by diverting tens of thousands of tonnes of clothing away from landfill.

So please keep an eye out for our environmentally friendly t-shirt Tags and First Tuesday collection leaflets.

These collection methods were developed in consultation with the Police and Trading Standards and we hope they will play a part in reducing incidences of collection bag theft.
