National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children

The NSPCC is the UK’s leading children charity specialising in child protection and the prevention
of cruelty to children. The NSPCC’s vision is to end cruelty to children FULL STOP.
NSPCC services
The NSPCC runs projects and services across the United Kingdom and Channel Islands,
including ChildLine, the UK’s free, confidential 24-hour helpline for children and young people. The NSPCC helps over 10,000 children and their families every year.
Working with Clothes Aid
The NSPCC has appointed Clothes Aid to collect good quality used clothing on our behalf throughout the UK. For every tonne of clothes, shoes and textiles collected, the NSPCC will receive £75 or more from Clothes Aid, who guarantee to raise at least £525,000 for the NSPCC over a 12 month period.
In the case of one-stop collections, Clothes Aid will give £300 per tonne collected to the NSPCC. Read more about one-stop collections here.
Your clothes make a difference
Your unwanted clothes go a long way to help vulnerable children in the UK. For example, £4 can answer a call to Child Line.
"I feel better just having talked to you. I don't feel so alone now. Thank you for listening to me...you helped me to work out what I had to do". A ChildLine caller
